The Mission of OFFM

As people of faith, we are accountable before our God for our relationship with the poor and our struggle for justice. In the shadow of a fantasy world created by the Magic Kingdom, and on the dusty backroads of Central Florida, through farmworker neighborhoods and labor camps, the OFFM team commits itself to:
*MAKING the word of the Gospel real and livable.
*ACCOMPANYING individuals and communities on a spiritual journey with God.
*ENABLING farmworkers and the rural poor to value themselves as persons.
*FACILITATING the development of personal and community skills to achive their goals.
*PROVIDING support and technical assistance to enable the formation of a community with the capacity for political, economic and social transformation.
*SEEING the connection between issues that impact the lives of the poor, especially farmworkers.
*BUILDING bridges and connections between the farmworker community and the non-poor to increase mutual evangelization and social transformation.
