OFF: A Manifesto raises the alarm regarding the critical point we are reaching with respect to our relationship with digital technology and proposes a series of concrete recommendations in order to face this challenge.

This independent initiative stems from a genuine concern about the trends that emphasise how humans and of their institutions are vulnerable to the ill-conceived and wrongly-focused deployment of technology.

It has been backed by more than a hundred personalities from very diverse fields: academia, law, business, education, culture, science, psychology, think tanks, etc.

It aims to constitute the first step towards a mobilisation of the civil society with the objective to support both public and private actions to regain control on digital technology.
