STICK OFF
STICK OFF PRACTICAL GUIDE
-
Download and print the documents with the messages you wish among the selection we offer in your language.
-
Fold each sheet in half, turning the typical A4 format into an A5, which will make them thicker. Stick a little piece of double-faced tape in the corners inside so that it remains folded.
-
Take some Blue-Tack with you to be able to stick the posters on any outside surface. Otherwise take some strong tape.
-
Identify relevant locations to stick the posters (columns, bus stops, streetlamps, etc.).
-
Avoid backlighting that make the sheets look more transparent and the text harder to read.
-
Stick 4-5 posters vertically, one below another, with the cover (“OFF – Let's reinvent the OFF button”) above, and then 3-4 posters with a message.
-
If you have any questions, check what are the applicable regulations regarding the placement of signs on public roads. The regulation varies depending on the country, the autonomous community and the municipality. Do not commit any illegal action.
-
Vary the themes you select in each series (social media, AI, attention economy, e-commerce, etc.) as well as the format (More… Less…, puns, straightforward and not so funny messages, etc.)
-
If you wish, take a photo and send it to stick-off[AT]offm.org indicating where you took it.
And above all, have fun and take advantage of the situation to start conversations with people about what you’re doing!
